If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier. Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

Installation notes
The C3L-CP requires a 248mm cut-out and a mounting depth of 177.5mm, so check loft or ceiling void clearance before specifying. Being a sealed design, no additional back box is needed, but the extra depth should be allowed for compared with slimline ceiling speakers. Given its 120W handling and 45-180W recommended amplifier power, the C3L-CP pairs well with a dedicated AV receiver or a higher-powered streaming amplifier such as a WiiM Amp Pro for two-channel use, or an AV processor for home cinema LCR and surround duties.
