If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier. Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

Installation notes
The C2M-CP requires a 212mm round cutout and a mounting depth of 177.5mm, so check joist and ceiling void clearance before fitting. Its sealed enclosure means no additional back box is needed, simplifying installation in timber or plasterboard ceilings. Pair with a multi-room amplifier such as a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp for streaming-based background music systems, or a traditional multi-channel amp for larger distributed audio installations.
