These terms apply to every order placed on www.ceiling-speakers.co. Please read them before ordering. They don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Using this website
You must be 18 or over to place an order. You agree to give accurate and up-to-date details when ordering, and you are responsible for keeping any account password secure. You must not misuse the website, including by introducing viruses, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or copying content or product data for commercial use without our written permission.
3. Products and information
We take care to describe products accurately, including dimensions, cut-out sizes and mounting depths, using the manufacturer's specifications. Product images are for illustration, and colours may vary slightly on screen. Manufacturers occasionally change specifications without notice; if a change affects your installation, please check with us before ordering. Our free design service is advice given in good faith, based on the information you provide, and you remain responsible for checking site conditions (such as joist positions, ceiling void depth and fire rating requirements) before installation.
Some products are available by quote only. For these, submitting a quote request does not create a contract; we'll reply with a quotation, and a contract is formed only when you accept it and we confirm your order.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. Ex-VAT prices are shown for the convenience of trade customers. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken in full when you place your order.
If we make an obvious pricing error, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. Multi-buy and bundle savings apply only as shown on the website at the time of order.
5. Your order and our contract with you
After you place an order you'll receive an email acknowledging it. This is not acceptance. Our contract with you is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, or we can't verify payment; if so, we'll tell you and refund any payment in full.
6. Delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Delivery options, charges and dispatch times are set out in our Shipping Policy and Delivery Information page. Delivery times are estimates; if we can't deliver within 30 days of your order, we'll contact you and you can cancel for a full refund.
If you are a consumer, the goods are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to you or to someone you nominate. If you are a business customer, risk passes when the goods are delivered to your chosen address. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
Please check your delivery and tell us about any damage or missing items within 48 hours.
7. Cancellations and returns
If you are a consumer you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Full details, including how to return goods and how refunds are made, are in our Refund Policy and Returns & Warranty page.
8. Faulty goods and warranty
If you are a consumer, the goods you buy must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If they are not, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement. Products also carry the manufacturer's warranty, which is in addition to your legal rights.
The warranty and your legal rights don't cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, accident, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear. We recommend installation by a competent installer, in line with the manufacturer's instructions and Building Regulations.
9. Business customers
If you buy as a business (including installers and trade customers), the consumer rights in sections 7 and 8 do not apply to you, except where the law says otherwise. Faulty goods must be reported within 14 days of delivery, and our liability to you for any loss is limited to the price of the goods concerned. We are not liable to business customers for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. Returns of non-faulty goods by business customers are at our discretion.
10. Our liability
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We supply products to consumers for domestic and private use only.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, severe weather, supply shortages or IT failures. If such an event is likely to delay delivery significantly, we'll contact you and you can cancel for a full refund of anything you have paid for goods not received.
12. Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, images, layout and design, belongs to us or our licensors. Brand names and logos shown on the website are trademarks of their respective owners and are used to identify their products.
13. Your personal information
We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy. This website is hosted by Shopify, which processes information about your visit and transactions to provide the service.
14. Other important terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies to your order is the one shown on the website when you place it. If a court finds any part of these terms unlawful, the rest will continue in force. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at sales@ceiling-speakers.co or 01284 634048 and we'll do our best to resolve it.
