Need a fire hood?

If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above. You'll need 2, one per speaker.

Need speaker cable?

Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier (2 speakers = 20m). Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

  • The amp: 60W per channel into 8 ohms with AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, HDMI ARC for your TV and a subwoofer output, all controlled from the WiiM Home app.
  • The speakers: Monitor Audio Creator Series speakers with an MMP II bass cone and C-CAM gold dome tweeter.
  • Wiring: Wire one speaker to each channel.
