If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier. Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

Installation notes
The C1L requires a 248mm cut-out and a mounting depth of 99mm, so check loft or ceiling void clearance before installing. A pre-construction bracket (CL-B) is available for new-build projects. Given its 75W power handling and 8 ohm nominal impedance, the C1L pairs well with a dedicated multi-room amplifier such as a Sonos Amp or a WiiM Amp for streamed background music, or with a traditional AV receiver in home cinema applications. The supplied paintable round grille allows it to blend into any ceiling colour scheme.
