Monitor Audio CML-FH Fire Hood for Medium & Large In-Ceiling Speakers

The Monitor Audio CML-FH is a fire and acoustic hood designed to fit over the back of a medium or large in-ceiling speaker, maintaining the fire integrity of the ceiling above. It is intended for anyone installing in-ceiling speakers below habitable rooms or escape routes, such as the ground-floor ceiling of a two-storey house, where building regulations require the ceiling's fire rating to be preserved.

Good to know

The CML-FH fits around the rear of the speaker before installation, secured with push-pin fixings, and is sold individually, so you will need one hood per speaker. It is compatible with Monitor Audio's Creator Series C1M, C2M, C2M-T2X, C2M-CP, C3M, C1L, C2L, C2L-T2X, C2L-CP, C2L-A, C3L, C3L-CP and C3L-A, as well as the Basics Series C165, C165-T2, C180, and the All-Weather Series AWC265, AWC265-T2, AWC280 and AWC280-T2. It will also suit other in-ceiling speakers that match its external dimensions.
