If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier. Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

Installation notes
The C2M requires a 212mm cut-out and a mounting depth of 99mm, so check loft or ceiling void clearance before installation. An optional pre-construction bracket (CM-B) is available for new-build projects. For best results, pair with a dedicated multi-room amplifier such as a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp Pro, which can comfortably drive the recommended 40-150W power range into the C2M's 8 ohm load.
