If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier. Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

Installation notes
The Ci200QR requires a 240mm cut-out and a mounting depth of 103.3mm, with an overall diameter of 289.6mm, so check loft or ceiling void clearance before installing. For multi-room or background music setups, it pairs well with a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp, both of which comfortably drive its 8-ohm load within the speaker's 10-150W handling range. Optional rough-in frame (RIF200R) and rear enclosure (RNC200R) accessories are available for new-build or acoustic isolation installs.
