The Sonos Amp turns any pair of passive ceiling, in-wall or outdoor speakers into part of a Sonos system. It delivers 125W per channel into 8 ohms, connects to your TV over HDMI ARC and streams from the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2 and every major music service.
Why we like it
- Enough power for most ceiling and outdoor speakers, with a subwoofer output and adjustable crossover
- HDMI ARC: your ceiling speakers become the TV sound, volume on the TV remote
- Groups with other Sonos speakers for whole-home audio
- Drives up to four speakers (two 8 ohm pairs wired in parallel)
- Compact 217 x 217 x 64mm chassis fits AV racks and cupboards
