Sonos Amp + 2x KEF Ci200QR Ceiling Speaker Package
Sonos Amp + 2x KEF Ci200QR Ceiling Speaker Package
If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above. You'll need 2, one per speaker.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier (2 speakers = 20m). Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.
A ready-matched 2-speaker system: the Sonos Amp with 2 x KEF Ci200QR in-ceiling speakers. Bought together it costs £1,129, against £1,197 for the parts separately.
What's in the box
- 1 x Sonos Amp (SONOSAMP)
- 2 x KEF Ci200QR in-ceiling speakers
Speaker cable is not included.
Why this pairing works
- The amp: 125W per channel into 8 ohms, HDMI ARC for your TV, AirPlay 2, a subwoofer output and full Sonos multi-room control, so it groups with any other Sonos speakers in the house.
- The speakers: 8" Uni-Q speakers for larger rooms and fuller, deeper bass.
- Wiring: Wire one speaker to each channel.
