These are passive speakers, so they need an amplifier to power them (8Ω). Either of these will drive a pair and stream music from your phone.
Need speaker cable?
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier. Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.
The SpeakerCraft Profile AIM Cinema One is a large-format in-wall LCR speaker designed to deliver floor-standing levels of power and scale from a flangeless, architectural in-wall enclosure. With its extensive driver array and bi-ampable design, it suits larger rooms and dedicated home cinema installations where front-channel performance is a priority.

Installation notes
The cut-out required is 730 x 191mm, with an overall outside dimension of 768 x 229 x 102mm including the grille. Allow adequate wall cavity depth to accommodate the 102mm mounting depth. As a bi-ampable LCR design with an 8 ohm impedance, pairing with a suitable multi-channel AV amplifier capable of driving low-impedance, high-power loads is recommended, particularly where bi-amping is used.

Questions we get asked
Does it come with a grille?
Yes. Every ceiling and in-wall speaker we sell comes with its grille in the box. Manufacturer photos often show the speaker with the grille removed so you can see the drivers, but the grille is always included.
Will it fit my wall?
You'll need at least 102mm of depth behind the wall surface. Standard plasterboard ceilings with joists are usually fine; check for pipes, cables and insulation before cutting. Not sure? Send us a photo or plan and we'll check it for you.
Do I need an amplifier?
Yes. These are passive speakers, so they need an amplifier or AV receiver to drive them. They're rated at 8Ω with 125W recommended amplifier power. For most rooms a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp is ideal: each drives a pair and streams from your phone. You can also buy a package with the amp included and save 5%.
How many speakers do I need?
As a rule of thumb: a pair for most bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms up to about 20m², two pairs for large open-plan spaces, and a single stereo speaker (T2 / stereo models) for small rooms like en-suites. For home cinema, use 5 or 7 speakers plus a subwoofer. Our free design service will plan positions and sizes from your floorplan.
Is it sold singly or as a pair?
Priced per speaker. Add the quantity you need; most rooms use a pair.
