If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier. Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

Installation notes
The Ci130CS requires a square cut-out of 158mm x 158mm. The overall dimensions of the speaker are 184mm x 184mm, with a mounting depth of 77.1mm, so ensure adequate clearance above the ceiling before installation. As a passive speaker it needs an external amplifier; a compact multi-room amp such as a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp pairs well for background music applications, delivering up to its rated 80W per channel at 8 Ohms. As a mono design, fit two units for true stereo coverage in a room.
