WiiM Amp + 2x KEF Ci160QR Ceiling Speaker Package
If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above. You'll need 2, one per speaker.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier (2 speakers = 20m). Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.
A ready-matched 2-speaker system: the WiiM Amp with 2 x KEF Ci160QR in-ceiling speakers. Bought together it costs £749, against £797 for the parts separately.
