If the ceiling has a bedroom or other living space above it, or is part of an escape route, building regulations require each speaker to have a fire hood. Hoods also cut sound leaking into the room above. You'll need 2, one per speaker.
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier (this listing is a pair). Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.

Installation notes
Each speaker has a 235mm overall diameter, a 210mm cut-out diameter and requires a 120mm mounting depth, so check joist spacing and ceiling void clearance before fitting. These speakers are passive and designed to be driven by a Sonos Amp; mounting hardware and a tile bridge are included for straightforward installation.
