Need speaker cable?
Outdoor runs need burial-grade cable. Allow about 10m per speaker for the pair. QED QX16/2 PE has a water and UV resistant jacket and can be buried without conduit.

Supplied as a pair in black, it suits patios, gardens, porches and covered outdoor living spaces, as well as bathrooms or other interior rooms where a weatherproof build is beneficial.

Installation notes
Climate CL2 M is a wall-mountable speaker rather than a flush ceiling/in-wall model, fitted using the supplied die-cast 'Quik-Link' bracket system; no cut-out is required. Overall dimensions with all accessories fitted are 332 x 190 x 240 mm (H x W x D). Pair with an amplifier capable of delivering up to 200W RMS per channel into the speaker's 6Ω nominal impedance (minimum impedance 4.8Ω across 20Hz–20kHz) for best results.

Do I need an amplifier?
Yes. These are passive speakers, so they need an amplifier or AV receiver to drive them. They're rated at 6Ω with 200W recommended amplifier power. For most rooms a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp is ideal: each drives a pair and streams from your phone. You can also buy a package with the amp included and save 5%.
How many speakers do I need?
As a rule of thumb: a pair for most bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms up to about 20m², two pairs for large open-plan spaces, and a single stereo speaker (T2 / stereo models) for small rooms like en-suites.
