Need speaker cable?
Outdoor runs need burial-grade cable. Allow about 10m per speaker for the pair. QED QX16/2 PE has a water and UV resistant jacket and can be buried without conduit.

Installation notes
Cabinet dimensions are 300 x 226 x 219mm, increasing to 263.5mm deep with the bracket and knobs fitted, so allow adequate wall or post clearance. These are passive speakers needing an external amplifier; a two-channel amp or a compact streaming amplifier such as a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp Pro is a great match, delivering clean power within the speaker's recommended 10-125W range.

Yes. These are passive speakers, so they need an amplifier or AV receiver to drive them. They're rated at 6Ω with 10–125W recommended amplifier power. For most rooms a Sonos Amp or WiiM Amp is ideal: each drives a pair and streams from your phone. You can also buy a package with the amp included and save 5%.
How many speakers do I need?
As a rule of thumb: a pair for most bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms up to about 20m², two pairs for large open-plan spaces, and a single stereo speaker (T2 / stereo models) for small rooms like en-suites.
