The Monitor Audio CFB3-SQ is a square pre-construction bracket designed for new-build installations, allowing the CF230 or ICS-8 ceiling speaker to be fitted with a seamless, flush appearance. It is intended for installation before plastering or ceiling boarding is completed, suiting projects where speaker positions are planned in advance.
Why we like it
- Enables a genuinely flush, seamless finish once the ceiling speaker is fitted
- Designed specifically for new-build and pre-construction work
- Compatible with both the CF230 and ICS-8 ceiling speakers
- Simplifies alignment and fitting of the speaker at a later stage
- Supplied as a single bracket, one required per speaker
Installation notes
The CFB3-SQ should be installed during the construction or renovation phase, ahead of plastering or ceiling board fitting, to create a precise, flush-fit housing for the CF230 or ICS-8. One bracket is required per speaker position. Please refer to the manufacturer's CAD drawing and the CF230 installation guide for exact positioning and fixing details before beginning work.
