KEF Ci200QSb-THX 8" In-Wall Subwoofer
Allow about 10m per speaker for a typical run back to the amplifier (this listing is a pair). Webro 16/2 LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen) is the right cable for runs in ceilings and walls.
The KEF Ci200QSb-THX is a pair of 8-inch in-wall subwoofers engineered for serious home cinema builds, multi-room installations and trade projects where deep bass needs to disappear into the wall. THX Ultra-2 and Select-2 certified, this pair is designed to deliver cinema-grade low end without a visible subwoofer cabinet, making it ideal for dedicated cinema rooms, media lounges and feature installations where aesthetics matter as much as performance.
Why we like it
- THX Ultra-2/Select-2 certification guarantees flat response, low distortion and high output
- Flexible passive or active (KASA500) operation to suit different system configurations
- Ultra-Thin Bezel and paintable magnetic grille blend into any décor
- IP64 rating adds durability for garages and less climate-controlled rooms
- Dog-leg mounting system speeds up installation into standard wall cavities
Installation notes
Each subwoofer requires a 238 x 238mm cut-out and a mounting depth of 101.6mm, with a compatible wall cavity thickness of 6-40mm. In passive mode, pair with a 10-150W amplifier; for full THX active performance, use alongside KEF's KASA500 amplifier, particularly when installing multiple pairs for larger rooms.
