WiiM Sound Smart Speaker with Touchscreen

The WiiM Sound is a compact smart speaker built around a 1.8" round touchscreen, giving instant on-device control without reaching for a phone. It suits shelves, counters, nightstands or wall-mounted placement, and can be used alone, paired for stereo, or combined with other WiiM components for a whole-home system.

Why we like it

• 4" long-throw woofer plus dual tweeters (50W + 2x25W) for a 100W peak output and room-filling sound
• 1.8" glass-covered touch display for album art, track info, source and EQ control with no phone needed
• AI RoomFit automatically tunes the sound to the room and placement
• Hi-Res streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz with gapless playback, plus Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E and Ethernet
• Can be paired for true stereo, or used as a surround or centre channel with compatible WiiM components

Installation notes

WiiM Sound is a freestanding/wall-mountable smart speaker rather than an in-ceiling or in-wall unit, so there is no cut-out or mounting depth to consider. It includes a 3.5mm line-in for connecting a turntable or TV, and Ethernet or Wi-Fi for network streaming. Two units can be grouped for true L/R stereo via the WiiM Home App, or assigned as surround or centre channels when used alongside compatible WiiM amplifiers and components; it is a self-amplified speaker rather than a passive speaker requiring an external amplifier.
