The WiiM Amp Ultra is a streaming amplifier that combines network streaming, HDMI ARC home cinema integration and high-power amplification in a single compact unit. Delivering 100W per channel into 8Ω or 200W into 4Ω, it is equally suited to driving a pair of bookshelf or floor-standing speakers as it is to powering a multi-zone in-ceiling or in-wall installation. Its touchscreen control, extensive streaming support and room correction make it a strong centrepiece for a modern multi-room or home cinema system.

Installation notes
The Amp Ultra measures 200 x 211 x 76.2mm and is designed for shelf or cabinet placement rather than in-wall mounting. Speaker connections are via gold-plated binding posts supporting banana plugs or bare wire, with an output impedance range of 2–8Ω, making it compatible with most passive ceiling, in-wall and standmount speakers. A dedicated mono RCA subwoofer output is provided for adding low-frequency extension. Network connectivity is via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, with Bluetooth 5.3 and HDMI ARC also available as sources; note that the unit does not support AirPlay.
