This is Webro 12/2 installation speaker cable, a heavy-gauge 2-core cable in 12AWG (3.19mm²) with a violet Low Smoke Non-Halogen (LSNH) sheath. It is intended for anyone wiring fixed in-wall or in-ceiling speaker systems where longer cable runs or low-impedance, high-power home cinema setups demand a thicker conductor than standard domestic cable.

Good to know

This is a 2-core cable, so you will need one run per speaker; for stereo pairs or two speakers from a single cable, a 4-core alternative would be required instead. As a general guide, 16AWG cable suits typical domestic runs, 14AWG is better for longer runs, and 12AWG cable such as this is recommended for very long runs or for low-impedance, high-power home cinema systems. LSNH cable of this type is designed specifically for fixed installation in walls and ceilings. It is supplied cut to length from the drum in 10m, 20m, 30m or 50m lengths.
