Installation notes

As a freestanding wireless subwoofer, the Sub 4 requires no cut-out or in-wall mounting; it simply needs a nearby mains outlet and a WiFi connection (or optional Ethernet to a router). It pairs with compatible Sonos soundbars (Arc Ultra, Arc, Beam, Ray) and speakers (Five, Era 300, Era 100) to take over the lowest frequencies, allowing the paired speaker to focus on high and mid frequencies. Two Sub 4 units can be paired together with Arc Ultra for additional bass depth. Setup and audio adjustment (bass, treble, loudness) are handled via the Sonos app.
