It pairs four weatherproof satellite speakers with a single buriable subwoofer, giving installers and homeowners a tidy, high-performance solution for background music or entertaining outdoors.

Why we like it

Four 4" satellite speakers with 3/4" titanium dome tweeters for crisp, balanced sound

8" dual voice coil in-ground subwoofer adds deep bass with 360° dispersion

Rugged, UV- and weather-resistant fibreglass-reinforced ABS construction built for year-round outdoor use

Tool-free twist-to-lock satellite mounts on ground stakes make positioning and maintenance simple

Expandable design allows the system to grow to an 8.2 configuration for larger spaces

Installation notes

This is a passive system and requires an external amplifier; SpeakerCraft recommends amplification from as little as 30W up to 200W per channel, making it compatible with most multi-room or outdoor-rated amplifiers. The satellite speakers mount on supplied ground stakes rather than requiring a cutout, while the subwoofer is designed to be buried directly in the ground, so no wall or ceiling cutout dimensions apply. No overall diameter or depth figures are specified by the manufacturer.

Specifications

Configuration

4 x satellite speakers + 1 x in-ground subwoofer

Satellite driver

4" polypropylene cone woofer, 3/4" titanium dome tweeter

Subwoofer driver

8" dual voice coil polypropylene cone

Frequency response

34Hz - 20kHz

Impedance

8 Ohms per channel

Power handling

50W min / 200W max

Weight

Satellite approx. 1.4kg each, subwoofer approx. 6.8kg

Power type

Passive, amplifier required

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1115/1323/9891/files/p_speakercraft-outdoor-speakr-kit-HS-1_278fdb18-9906-4e84-83da-658cede1b46d.jpg?v=1791895708
https://www.ceiling-speakers.co/products/speakercraft-terrazza-4-1-bu-outdoor-satellite-and-buriable-subwoofer-system
